VALTEX is the blog of the Visual Art League (VAL) of Lewisville, TX. VAL is a non-profit, all volunteer organization operating to advance the visual arts through education and the promotion of art for the enrichment of the individual and the community.
Events are held frequently at the Visual Art League Center located in the Lewisville West Shopping Center just off Fox and I-35. Gallery hours are from 2 to 6 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The next VAL-ATC workshop is on Feb. 21st from 12 to 4. All are invited. A group of artists from McKinney, TX plan to attend and it should be a fun filled afternoon. Bring your favorite art supplies and plan to trade some ATC's. I'll have plenty of my ATC's to give away. Hope to see you---David Mask
