VALTEX is the blog of the Visual Art League (VAL) of Lewisville, TX. VAL is a non-profit, all volunteer organization operating to advance the visual arts through education and the promotion of art for the enrichment of the individual and the community.
Events are held frequently at the Visual Art League Center located in the Lewisville West Shopping Center just off Fox and I-35. Gallery hours are from 2 to 6 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

VAL represented @ Chili Cook off in 2008
Here's one for the VAL Diary. VAL was well represented at this Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser in 2008. Wanda Grice and Meg Smith served up a creative dish of chili to a visitor at the event.
